Overview: Documents in Stack
Managing, sharing, and requesting documents from your contacts has never been easier with Stack. Our document feature is designed to simplify your business's document management needs. Here's a breakdown of the document categories available:
- Internal Documents
- Sent to Contact Documents (coming soon)
- Received from Contact Documents (coming soon)
Internal Documents
Internal Documents allow you to store important files within the CRM on each contact's details page. These documents are accessible to users with permission to view the contact. When you add documents to custom fields, they are automatically organized into a folder named "Custom Fields" under the "Internal" section. Please note that documents in custom fields cannot be deleted.
Adding Documents to Your Contacts
To add new documents to the internal section, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the contact's details page.
- Click on +Add and select New File.
- Upload your document. Keep in mind:
- The maximum file size is 250MB.
- Supported file types include PPT, Docs, PDF, CSV, and various image formats.
Searching for Documents
To find a specific document, you can search by the document name directly on the contact's details page. This makes locating your files quick and efficient.
