Issue Certificates on Course Completion
Introducing a fantastic feature in Stack: Certificates integrated with courses! This enhancement allows you to send customized certificates to learners upon course completion. Learners will receive an email notification with a link to access and download their certificates—a great way to acknowledge and celebrate their accomplishments.
How to Issue a Certificate
To issue a certificate when a course is completed, follow these steps:

Select a Course
Navigate to Memberships > Courses > Products and choose the course for which you want to issue a certificate. -
Access the Certificates Tab
Go to the Certificates tab. -
Attach a Template
- Click on Attach.
- Select a template to use for the certificate.
- The category will default to Course Completion.

Save Your Changes
Click Save. Once saved, all new learners who complete the course will automatically receive their certificate via email.
You can view details of all issued certificates under Memberships > Certificates.
Note: Only one certificate can be attached to a course at a time. To change the template, edit and select a new one, or delete the current template and add a new one.
FAQs
What happens if I mark a certificate as inactive for a specific course?
If a certificate is marked as inactive, it will not be sent automatically upon course completion. To resume sending certificates, ensure they are marked as active.
How do I stop sending certificates to a specific learner?
To stop sending certificates to a specific learner:
- Navigate to Sites > Memberships > Certificates > Issued Certificates.
- Click on the three dots next to the learner's name.
- Select Revoke Access.
Once access is revoked, the learner will no longer be able to access previously sent certificates.
Can learners share their certificates publicly?
Yes, learners can share their certificates by copying the certificate link and sharing it publicly.
