Viewing Calendar & Appointments in Your Timezone

Effortlessly manage your schedule with Stack by viewing your calendar, appointments, and confirmation emails in your default user timezone. This feature ensures a seamless experience for users across different locations.

How It Works

Imagine your business is based in New York, USA (Eastern Standard Time - EST). User A is in Paris, France (Central European Time - CET), and User B is in California, USA (Pacific Standard Time - PST). With User A's default timezone set to CET, they see all appointments in Central European Time, while User B views theirs in PST. This setup eliminates the hassle of manual time conversion, allowing users to check appointments directly in their own timezone.

Note: In both the Calendar View and Appointment List, you can identify the timezone you are currently viewing.

Setting Your Timezone

To set your timezone in Stack:

  1. Go to Settings > My Profile.
  2. Scroll to User Availability.
  3. Set your desired timezone.

Ensuring Accurate Availability

If Your User Timezone Matches Your Actual Location

Simply enter your regular availability, such as 9 am to 5 pm.

If Your User Timezone Differs from Your Actual Location

Adjust your availability to match the selected timezone. For instance, if you're in the UK (GMT +00:00) but need to operate in New York (GMT -05:00), make sure to align your availability with New York time.

Note: These changes apply only to the Calendar Module, including Calendar View, Appointment List, and Confirmation Emails. Future updates will extend this feature to Appointments under Contacts, Conversations, and Opportunities.
