One Time Link in Stack
What is a One Time Link?
A One Time Link in Stack is a unique scheduling link to your calendar that automatically expires after an appointment is booked. Unlike permanent or regular scheduling links, a One Time Link provides single-use access to your calendar.
Why are One Time Links Important?
One Time Links are particularly useful for those who want to maintain control over their calendar availability. These links expire after each booking, preventing unwanted or repeated bookings without your consent. This feature ensures that your calendar remains private and that your availability isn't shared with individuals you haven't approved.
How to Share a One Time Link
To share a One Time Link to your calendar in Stack:
- Navigate to Calendar Settings and select Calendars.
- Click on the three dots next to your calendar and choose Share.
- In the sharing options, go to the One Time Link tab.
- Click Copy to easily copy and paste the One Time Link wherever needed.
- To generate a new link, click on Generate New Link to obtain a fresh URL.
What Happens After Booking
Once a booking is made using a One Time Link, the link will expire. If someone tries to schedule another appointment using the same link, they will be prompted to contact you, as the link is no longer valid. This ensures that only current and valid links are used for scheduling appointments.
