Google Organic Booking with Stack

What is Booking Redirect?

Google Organic Booking, also known as Booking Redirect, allows your customers to find and book services directly from your business's Google Business Profile. This seamless integration means potential clients can schedule appointments straight from Google search results or Google Maps, without needing to visit your website or use external booking platforms. By simplifying the booking process, this feature helps attract and convert local customers efficiently.

Who Can Use This Feature?

Google Organic Booking is available for businesses operating in certain countries and specific business verticals. Ensure your business qualifies to take advantage of this feature.

Requirements

To enable Google Organic Booking, you must have an active Google Business Profile.

Uploading Feeds

To set up Google Organic Booking, follow these steps:

Step 1: Primary Action Feed (Book Online Button)

  1. Create a Booking Page:

    • Set up a service menu or a group of services. This detailed view aids customers in selecting services effortlessly.
  2. Upload the Primary Action Feed:

    • This link allows customers to book services directly. Ensure it is active and user-friendly.
    • The Primary Feed action link will be added to the "Book Online" button.

Step 2: Individual Service Booking

  1. List Your Services:

    • Use any existing calendar to display services under the services tab on Google.
  2. Upload Individual Service Feeds:

    • Select specific calendars (services) to display by choosing them in the Individual Service Booking dropdown.
    • Ensure each calendar has a clear description that matches the calendar or service name for Google validation.

Verification of feeds and profiles typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Tips for Success

  • Clear Descriptions: Ensure your services and calendars have clear, concise descriptions that align with their names.
  • Link Accuracy: Select only service menus or groups in the Primary Action Feed and individual calendar service links.
  • Regular Updates: Keep your information up-to-date. Regularly update your offerings and descriptions to maintain accuracy.

How to Disable Integration

If you need to disable Google Organic Booking, you can do so with a simple toggle in Calendar Settings. Disabling this feature stops the system from uploading feeds to Google, meaning customers won't see the option to book services directly from your Google Business Profile.

Steps to Disable:

  1. Navigate to Calendar Settings > Connections Tab.
  2. In the Account Connections tab, find the Google Organic Booking section.
  3. Toggle the switch to disable Google Organic Booking.
