Cancellation & Reschedule Policy in the Booking Widget
Overview
The Cancellation & Reschedule Policy in Stack allows you to set a specific time frame during which bookers can cancel or reschedule their appointments using the booking widget. This feature is designed to help businesses minimize last-minute changes by requiring bookers to contact the business directly for modifications outside the specified window.
How to Use the Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

Access Calendar Settings:
- Go to your Calendar Settings and select the calendar you wish to configure.

Enable Cancellation and Rescheduling:
- Navigate to the Notifications and Additional Options section.
- Turn on Allow Cancellation of Meeting and Allow Rescheduling of Meeting.

Set the Time Frame:
- Specify the time range after which the cancellation and reschedule links should be disabled.
- Note: Leaving this value blank means the links will never expire, allowing bookers to access them at any time.
What Happens When This Setting is Enabled?
- Once enabled, a cancellation and a rescheduling link will automatically be included in the additional notes section of the calendar invite. These links will expire based on your specified settings, preventing bookers from making changes beyond the allowed period.
How Bookers Receive the Cancellation & Reschedule Links

When you enable the Allow Cancellation and Allow Reschedule options, the links are added to the additional notes section of the calendar invite. Bookers can use these links to manage their appointments as needed.

Additionally, you can incorporate the custom values
{{reschedule_link}}and{{cancellation_link}}in your workflows to send these links directly to bookers. This ensures they have easy access to manage their appointments through your communications.
