Calendar Widget Reorder

Overview

The Calendar Widget Reorder feature in Stack allows you to customize the sequence of steps in the calendar widget. You can choose the order of the Date & Time Selector, the Form, and Payments (if enabled). Decide whether the Date & Time Selector or the Form appears first, which then determines the placement of the Payment step. This feature is beneficial for businesses aiming to gather lead information even if an appointment isn't booked.

Configuring the Widget Order

Note: This feature is available only for the NEO Widget.

  1. Navigate to Calendar Settings and select your calendar.
  2. Go to Forms & Payments.
  3. Drag and reorder the Date & Time Selector and Form to your desired sequence.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

How Does This Work?

If the Date Picker is First and the Form is Second:

  • Process: The user selects a date, fills out the form, and schedules the meeting.
  • Outcome: The appointment is booked, a contact is created in the system, and the form is submitted.

If the Form is First and the Date Picker is Second:

  • Process: The user fills out the form first.
  • Outcome: A contact is created immediately after the form submission. If the user then books an appointment, it is added to the system.

How Do Payments Work?

If payments are enabled, the creation of the appointment is contingent on the payment status.

  • Payment Process:
    • Duration: The user has 10 minutes to complete the payment.
    • Outcome: If payment is successful within 10 minutes, the appointment is booked. If not, the slot is reopened for others to book.

FAQs

Q: What happens when someone clicks back and submits the form again?
A: If the form is resubmitted within the same session, multiple submissions will appear. The details from the latest submission will update the contact.

Q: What happens to my form submission workflows?
A: If the form is first, workflows are triggered as soon as the form is submitted. If the form is second, workflows trigger only if the appointment is successfully booked.

Q: What happens to my appointment workflows?
A: If payment is disabled, workflows trigger as soon as the appointment is booked. If payment is enabled, workflows trigger only after payment completion, as the appointment is booked only with successful payment.

Q: I can't see the slot on the booking widget, and I don't have an appointment scheduled for the same time. Why is this happening?
A: This may occur if someone has selected a slot but hasn't completed the payment. The slot is held for 10 minutes. If payment is completed, the appointment is booked and visible in the calendar. If not, the slot is released and available for others.
