Managing Calendar Scheduling Conflicts in Stack

In Stack, you can efficiently manage scheduling conflicts using Teams/Group calendars, including Round Robin, Service, Class, and Collective Calendars. These calendars allow appointments assigned to specific users to sync seamlessly with third-party calendars like Google, Outlook, and iCloud. Events from these external calendars can also be synchronized back to Stack.

Configuring Your Calendar

To manage your calendar settings, navigate to Settings > My Profile. Here, you will find two main settings to configure:

  1. Primary Calendar
  2. Check for Conflicts

All third-party calendar integrations you've added will be displayed in this section.

Checking for Scheduling Conflicts

In the Check for Conflicts section, you can view all your integrated Google, Outlook, and iCloud calendars. This feature allows Stack to read events from your selected calendar and automatically block off times when you're unavailable. This means any events imported from Google, Outlook, or iCloud will prevent new appointments from being scheduled during those times.

It's important to note that the Check for Conflicts feature does not create new appointments. If a calendar is disabled in this section, it indicates that it is already set as your Primary Calendar.

By effectively managing these settings, you can ensure that your availability is accurately reflected across all your connected calendars, helping you avoid double bookings and scheduling conflicts.
