What is a Group Calendar in Stack?

A Group Calendar in Stack serves as a container that aggregates multiple individual calendars under a single link. This setup allows for a flexible booking experience, enabling clients to select from various service providers, distribute appointments, and choose services linked to specific team members.

Key Benefits of Group Calendars

Group Calendars enhance your appointment booking process by:

  • Combining multiple calendars into a single, streamlined booking link.
  • Allowing clients to choose between different team members or services.
  • Organizing calendar links based on department, availability, or services offered.
  • Reducing clutter by eliminating the need for multiple individual calendar links.

How to Create a Group Calendar

Step 1: Navigate to Calendar Settings

  1. Go to your Settings in the sub-account.
  2. Select Calendars under Business Services.
  3. Click on the Create Group button.

Step 2: Adding a New Calendar Group

  1. Enter a Group Name and an optional short description.
  2. Choose between the Classic or Neo templates for the Group view.
  3. Create a Group URL with an appropriate Slug.
  4. Click on Create.

Step 3: Adding Calendars to the Group

After creating the Group Calendar, a popup box will appear with two options:

  • Choose Calendars: Select calendars for the group directly from the pop-up.
  • I'll Do It Later: Skip this step and add calendars to the group later.

Note: If no calendars appear, ensure you’ve created individual calendars beforehand.

Syncing with External Calendars

Each team member should have a Primary Calendar configured in their calendar settings. This is essential for syncing appointments with third-party calendars like Google and Outlook.

Frequently Asked Questions
