Customize Your AI Responses Using Prompts
Enhance your interaction with Stack's Conversation AI Bot by customizing its responses and personality to suit your needs. This guide will walk you through managing prompts for specific intents, giving you greater control over how the bot communicates.
Intent-Based Prompting
To tailor your bot's responses, navigate to the "Configure Intent" tab within the Conversation AI settings of your Stack account. Here, you can select the intent you wish to modify and click on "Edit Prompt".
Components of Edit Prompt
When editing a prompt, you will encounter the following components:
Who is the Bot? [Editable]
This section allows you to define the bot's identity. Describe its role, objectives, and key points it should remember during interactions.
Goal [Non-Editable]
This field is fixed and outlines the bot's primary objective.
Anything Else the Bot Should Know? [Editable]
Here, you can add crucial business information, context about the conversation, details about the contact, and any rules the bot should follow. This helps the bot provide more accurate and relevant responses.
Note: You can incorporate Custom Values and Fields into your prompts by selecting the "+ Add Custom Values" button.
Templates and Reset to Default
Explore a variety of templates provided to inspire your prompt writing and discover best practices. If needed, you can revert any changes by using the "Reset to Default" button, restoring the prompt to its original state.
