Introducing Add Contact Info Feature
The Add Contact Info feature in Stack allows you to seamlessly add or update contact information such as name, phone number, and email directly from an AI conversation. This feature ensures your lead information is accurate and up-to-date by filling in any missing details. Note that email and phone fields are automatically updated, so no additional action is required for these.
Using the Add Contact Info Feature
Step 1: Access the Feature
Navigate to the Bot Goals tab and click on the Add Contact Info button to begin exploring the details.
Step 2: Update Contact Details
Click on the Add Contact Info button again to update the necessary details. Make sure to include all the information you wish to update.
How to Set Up the Fields
To optimize your experience, follow these steps to edit and update contact details:

Action Name:
Assign a memorable name to your action, such as "Update Contact's Date of Birth". This helps in identifying the action later. -
Select Field:
Choose the field you want to update from the dropdown menu (e.g., name, phone, email, business name). -
What to Update:
Provide a brief description of what you’re updating. For example:- For Date of Birth, you might write: "This is the birth date of the contact."
- For Business Name, you could write: "This is the business name of the contact."
This information assists the AI in generating more precise and personalized responses.

If applicable, provide an example of the updated information, such as "5th Jan 1990" for a date of birth.
Once you have configured the fields, click Save to finalize the new contact information settings.
Additional Information
After saving or updating contact info, it's crucial to explicitly ask the customer for their contact details in the bot’s prompt. Without this instruction, the bot will not request the necessary information, and the contact field will remain unchanged.

To efficiently collect information like name, email, phone, business name, and date of birth before booking an appointment, include the following in your prompt:
