How to View WhatsApp Template Insights

Template analytics provide data on how often a template has been sent, delivered, read, and how often interactive buttons have been clicked.

  1. Navigate to Settings > WhatsApp > Templates.
  2. Search for the desired template and click on Reports.
  3. Select the Deliverability tab.
  4. Choose your Start Date and End Date to view metrics.

Metrics Displayed

  • Sent: Message sent (indicated by one gray tick)
  • Delivered: Message delivered (indicated by two gray ticks)
  • Read: Message opened (indicated by blue ticks)

How to View WhatsApp Template Button Clicks

Button click analytics are available for templates categorized as MARKETING or UTILITY.

  1. Go to Settings > WhatsApp > Templates.
  2. Find the template and click on Reports.
  3. Click on Button Clicks.

URL Buttons

  • Functionality: When tapped, URL buttons open the specified URL in the device's default web browser.
  • Limit: Each template can include up to two URL buttons.

Note: Button click analytics are not supported for WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs) in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Japan.

Statuses and Their Meanings

  • Sent: The message has been sent from your system to WhatsApp (indicated by one gray tick)
  • Delivered: The message has successfully reached the recipient's device (indicated by two gray ticks)
