The WhatsApp schedule send feature in Stack allows you to plan your messages in advance, ensuring timely communication with your customers. You can schedule both WhatsApp templates and free-form messages, making it easier to manage your customer interactions efficiently.

How to Schedule Send WhatsApp Templates

  1. Navigate to Conversations:

    • Go to the Conversations tab.
    • Select the contact you want to message.
    • Choose WhatsApp and select the desired template.
  2. Schedule the Template:

    • Click on the calendar icon next to the Send button.
    • Choose a future date and time for your message.
    • Click Send Schedule to confirm.

    Note: Ensure that the date and time are set in the future.

How to Schedule Send Free-Form WhatsApp Messages

To schedule a free-form WhatsApp message, ensure you have an open Customer Service Window with the customer.

  1. Open a Conversation:

    • Go to the Conversations tab.
    • Select the contact you wish to message.
    • Choose WhatsApp and type your free-form message.
  2. Schedule the Message:

    • Click on the calendar icon next to the Send button.
    • Select the desired date and time within 24 hours from the last message received from the customer.
    • Click Schedule Send to finalize.

Yes, free-form messages can be scheduled, but only within an active Customer Service Window. You can schedule them up to 24 hours from the customer's last inbound message.

A Customer Service Window is a 24-hour period that starts when a customer sends you a message. During this time, you can send free-form replies without needing pre-approved templates.

What happens if I try to schedule a free-form message outside the 24-hour window?

The system won't allow scheduling outside the open window. In such cases, you'll need to use a WhatsApp template instead.

How do I know if my message has been successfully scheduled?

After selecting the send date and time, click Schedule Send. A confirmation will appear in the chat, showing the scheduled message with its timestamp.

Can I edit or cancel a scheduled message?

Currently, scheduled messages cannot be edited. If you need to make changes, delete the scheduled message and create a new one.
